VDK Group Inc. is seeking a full-time Driver Helper to join our growing Michigan team. This role supports delivery drivers with the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and delivery of materials and products to job sites, customers, and dealers. The successful candidate will represent VDK professionally, assist warehouse and installation teams, and help keep daily operations running smoothly. What You’ll Do Assist delivery drivers with transporting products, materials, and equipment to customer locations and job sites Load and unload trucks using proper equipment and safe handling procedures Help secure loads and verify delivery contents against required documentation Assist drivers with navigation, delivery instructions, and communication with site contacts Support safe vehicle positioning by acting as a spotter when needed Follow company policies, safety procedures, and site requirements Assist warehouse staff with material handling, organization, and delivery preparation Support installation teams with on-site material placement as required Represent VDK Group professionally when interacting with customers, dealers, and team members What You’ll Bring Previous experience in delivery assistance, warehouse operations, or material handling preferred Experience with construction or building materials is an asset A commitment to safe lifting, material handling, and load securement practices Willingness to learn how to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment; training is available Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills A dependable work ethic and the ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing delivery needs Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment safely, with assistance or appropriate equipment as needed High school diploma or equivalent preferred Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly wage Health insurance 401(k) retirement plan Professional development and career advancement opportunities Company events and team-building activities Company discounts A collaborative and supportive team environment Why Join VDK?
