Customer Sales Representative – Logistics Brokerage

About the role We are building our founding sales team in Laredo, TX. As a Customer Sales Representative you will develop new shipper relationships, manage customer accounts and drive profitable freight growth across our brokerage network. No brokerage experience is required. We train people with drive, a sales attitude and the hunger to grow. What you will do Generate new business through cold calling, prospecting, networking and strategic outreach Build and manage a pipeline of prospective shipper accounts Negotiate rates, service expectations and long-term transportation solutions with customers Work with carrier sales and operations teams to secure capacity and execute freight successfully Manage customer relationships to maximize retention and account growth Keep CRM activity, sales forecasts and account documentation accurate Monitor market trends, lane pricing and customer profitability Support RFPs, bids and strategic account presentations Resolve service issues proactively and keep customer satisfaction high Meet or exceed monthly gross margin and revenue targets What we are looking for Strong hunter mentality and competitive drive Excellent negotiation and communication skills Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls every day No prior experience required; full training provided Nice to have Bachelor's degree in any field, or some college Proven success in sales or business development Experience in logistics, transportation or freight brokerage Familiarity with CRM or TMS platforms What we offer Base salary of $31,200–$48,000 per year Highly attractive, uncapped commission plan: your earnings grow with the margin you generate Structured training and a clear career path in a fast-growing brokerage The backing of an established cross-border logistics group Job type: Full-time.
