Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Truck Driver and take the wheel in delivering essential freight across diverse routes! This energetic role offers the chance to operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, vans, tankers, and specialized loads You’ll be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and van trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries Load and unload freight with precision using manual handling techniques or forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries across assigned routes Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records in accordance with FMCSA and DOT regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking load security, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and fluid levels Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any vehicle issues Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tanker or flatbed operations as applicable Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on delivery driving and route driving Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck loading/unloading Experience with logistics cargo handling including freight loading/unloading procedures using forklifts, pallet jacks or other equipment when necessary Strong understanding of truck driving safety practices for tractor-trailer operations across various environments Join us to drive your career forward in a fast-paced environment where safety meets efficiency!
