Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trucks, to ensure timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers across over-the-road (OTR) routes, adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load and unload freight efficiently, including hazardous materials and dangerous goods, following hazardous materials regulations. Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals while complying with route-specific requirements such as refrigerated trailers or tanker loads. Transport a variety of cargo types including freight, logistics cargo, automobile transportation, and specialized loads like flatbed or tanker shipments. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in line with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks and handle manual handling tasks safely. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and DOT compliance standards. Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation is preferred. Strong GPS navigation skills for efficient route planning on over-the-road routes. Ability to load & unload freight safely while adhering to logistics cargo handling procedures.
