ConfidentialJob Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Company Reefer Driver and take charge of delivering refrigerated freight across various over-the-road (OTR) routes. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with refrigerated trailers (reefers) across designated routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load, secure, and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo safety and proper documentation Navigate using GPS systems efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing routes for fuel efficiency and time management Transport hazardous materials or dangerous goods when required, following all hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly to maintain optimal truck performance Manage delivery documentation accurately, including bills of lading, manifests, and delivery receipts Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding route progress, delays, or issues encountered during trips Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial truck driving Demonstrated expertise in refrigerated trailer operation and logistics cargo handling Experience with route driving, delivery driving, and over-the-road (OTR) driving routes involving long-haul trips Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving Ability to manually handle freight loading and unloading processes efficiently and safely Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time tracking Experience with different types of trailers such as flatbed or conestoga is a plus but not required Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures, freight security, and hazard management Minimum 2 years of experience Clean Clearinghouse record No SAP drivers Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction.
