Co-Packer

Steamworks Brewery is currently hiring production co-packers “mashers” at it's Brewery/Warehouse facility located in Burnaby. This position is all about preparing our finished mashup products by using machinery as well as manually placing various styles of beverages into appropriate boxes. This is a hands-on, physical position in which you will work closely with a team of production assistants and warehouse personnel. A strong work ethic, energetic attitude, and ability to stay focused is required. Shifts will vary anytime in between 7am-7pm. Job Duties: Create & fill Mashup boxes Recommend efficiencies to mashing process Other general warehouse duties as assigned by supervisor Assist in maintaining the safety of the work environment Act in a professional, courteous manner at all times Report any problems with mashing line or products Ensure accuracy with product placement Maintain a clean work environment Clean and sanitize Operate a pallet jack (a plus) Drive 5 ton truck when needed for transfers (a plus) Qualifications: Physical ability to drag pallets, climb stairs, and lift equipment Class 5 drivers license (an asset) Previous forklift experience (an asset) Ability to be attentive to detail Work well with others Positive attitude Ability to work well under pressure Ability to follow instructions Good hand-eye coordination Steamworks Group of Companies values diversity and inclusion and encourages all qualified people to apply.
