Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Confidential Executive Search | Presented by HR Done For You Location: Miami, Florida Employment Type: Full-Time | Executive Leadership Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site Position Overview HR Done For You, a human resources consulting and executive recruiting firm, has been retained to conduct a confidential search for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on behalf of a privately held organization operating within the manufacturing, trading, distribution, and supply-chain sectors. This position is based exclusively in Miami, Florida, and requires full-time, in-office presence. Our client operates in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment involving manufacturing operations, purchasing, inventory management, vendor relationships, customer accounts, logistics, and working-capital management. The organization is seeking a strategic, hands-on financial executive with demonstrated manufacturing industry experience who can strengthen financial operations, improve profitability, and support continued growth and scalability. Experience overseeing financial operations in Mexico and Honduras is a significant advantage. The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering closely with senior leadership to provide financial insight, strengthen operational discipline, manage risk, and guide strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities Lead the organization's financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Serve as a strategic financial advisor to executive leadership, supporting business growth and long-term financial planning. Oversee accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Provide financial leadership and oversight for manufacturing operations, including production costs, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and operational efficiency. Analyze manufacturing costs, cost of goods sold (COGS), gross margins, operating expenses, and overall profitability. Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate production efficiency, pricing strategies, capital investments, and growth opportunities. Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory-related financial considerations. Evaluate product, customer, and market profitability and provide actionable recommendations to leadership. Provide financial oversight related to purchasing, logistics, freight, warehousing, and supply-chain costs. Evaluate vendor terms, customer payment terms, inventory commitments, and their impact on cash flow. Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls, policies, approval processes, and reporting standards. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements. Support financial oversight of international operations, particularly in Mexico and Honduras, where applicable. Manage relationships with banks, auditors, accountants, tax professionals, and other financial partners. Partner with manufacturing, operations, sales, purchasing, and HR leadership to improve financial performance. Evaluate financial systems, ERP platforms, and reporting processes to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and scalability. Identify financial and operational risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. Support financing activities, capital expenditure planning, and major corporate initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Significant financial leadership experience within the manufacturing industry is required. Progressive experience in senior financial leadership roles, including Controller, VP of Finance, Finance Director, or CFO.
