CDL Truck Driver (CA to AZ)

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a CDL Truck Driver, responsible for safely transporting freight between designated locations. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks across designated routes from one location to another. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules while maintaining safety on the road. Handle various types of freight including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, or dump truck materials depending on assignment. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during transit. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements suitable for the vehicle type (e.g., manual transmission experience preferred). Proven truck driving experience with a focus on route driving and freight delivery. Ability to operate different truck types such as refrigerated trailers. Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and freight handling. Strong communication skills to coordinate with dispatch and customers effectively.
