CDL Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a professional and reliable SEMI Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. This position requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent driving skills. Candidates with experience in commercial driving and handling different trailer types are encouraged to apply. This job will require you to go out of state to get items such as flagstone, rock, plants/trees, and fiberglass pools. Expected driving locations from Las Cruces include, California, Arizona, El Paso, Alamogordo, TorC, Deming...etc.. Duties Safely operate trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, trailers, and dump trucks. Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Follow route schedules to ensure timely deliveries across various locations. Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly. Assist with the secure loading and unloading of freight, ensuring proper handling of specialized cargo such as refrigerated goods or hazardous materials when applicable. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with various trailer types such as flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, dump truck, or roll-off truck. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type (manual transmission experience preferred). Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Strong knowledge of route driving, load securement, and safety protocols. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to handle manual transmission trucks efficiently. Good physical condition for loading/unloading freight and performing vehicle inspections. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and load securement standards. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight across various routes while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
