CDL Hopper Bottom Truck Driver

Company: Zingler Trucking Location: Start out in Jefferson. Travel throughout WI, Iowa, and Illinois. Home every night. Also have OTR position making 100k plus a year 25-28% gross of the truck. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers hauling hopper bottom loads across designated routes. Load and unload bulk freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure and efficient handling of materials. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Navigate route driving challenges confidently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Manage freight delivery schedules, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs at various customer locations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience operating trucks in a commercial driving environment. Proven truck driving experience, particularly with tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty vehicles. Strong knowledge of route driving, safety procedures, and DOT regulations governing commercial trucking. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and compliance.
