CDL Driver Recruiter

Great drivers are the heart of our business. We're looking for someone who knows how to find them, connect with them, and bring them onto our team. At Apex Transit, we're a family-built trucking company that believes relationships matter. We're looking for an energetic, organized, and people-focused CDL Driver Recruiter who understands the trucking industry and knows that successful recruiting is about more than filling seats. What You'll Do Find great drivers. Recruit qualified CDL Class A drivers through Tenstreet, Indeed, referrals, social media, and other channels. Build relationships. Connect with applicants, answer questions, and keep candidates engaged throughout the hiring process. Manage the pipeline. Review applications, conduct initial screenings, track candidates in Tenstreet, and follow up consistently. Coordinate hiring. Work closely with Safety and Operations on driver qualifications, background checks, DOT requirements, and hiring approvals. Welcome new drivers. Help coordinate orientation, onboarding, and a smooth transition onto the Apex team. Keep things moving. Track recruiting activity, maintain accurate records, and help us meet our driver hiring goals. What We're Looking For Experience in truck driver recruiting, transportation, or logistics. Understanding of CDL Class A driver qualifications and DOT/FMCSA hiring requirements. Experience with Tenstreet or similar recruiting software is a plus. Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills. Someone who is proactive, personable, and comfortable juggling multiple candidates.
