CDL-A Truck Driver - Local Trips
J F IndustriesUS Mail contractor looking for a CDL-A driver to run round-trips out of Nashua to Springfield, MA. 2 PM start. The trip typically takes 6 hours so you will be back by 8 pm. There is room for negotiation on how many days/week the driver can commit to but we are looking for someone to do 6 days, with one day off. There is room to negotiate additional hours based on the applicant's needs, eg. work 7 days straight or do back to back trips and keep a day off. JFI has been contracted to the USPS for 47 years. We have a full-service garage with a full-time diesel mechanic. We run mostly Freightliner manual transmission vehicles with one automatic. The auto can be scheduled for this trip if preferred. Hauling mail for the USPS is some of the easiest tractor trailer work in the industry. We pull US Mail trailers. We make available all federally mandated wages and benefits handed down from the Post Office. Drivers raises are every 2 years, currently $35.29/hour, which breaks down to $28.87 base + $6.42 HWP(pre-tax). 11 federal holidays. Inquire within for details.
