CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver 25/Hour Home Daily - Ridgeville, SC

We are hiring CDL-A Local Shuttle Drivers based near Ridgeville, SC. Drivers run local routes within a 50-mile radius, mainly transporting automotive parts between a warehouse and manufacturing plant. This is a daytime, Monday - Friday position with daily home time, no-touch drop-and-hook freight, and strong hourly pay. Drivers use day cabs and 53-foot dry vans in a slip-seat operation. Pay and bonuses Starting pay: $25.00 per hour Weekend pay: additional $5.00 per hour on weekends; no time-and-a-half HazMat hauling bonus: additional $0.50 per hour when hauling hazmat New-hire transition bonus: $500 Referral bonus: up to $3,000, paid in installments Schedule and home time Monday through Friday 5:40 AM - 2:40 PM Some Saturday work may be required Home daily Local shuttle runs within a 50-mile radius of Ridgeville, SC Operating area SC - local shuttle runs within 50 miles of Ridgeville, SC What you will do Transport automotive parts between a warehouse and manufacturing plant Complete local drop-and-hook shuttle runs Operate a day cab with a 53-foot dry van Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Equipment and freight Day cab 53-foot dry van trailers Slip seat operation; trucks are shared among drivers Automotive parts freight No touch freight Drop and hook loading Driver requirements Valid Class A CDL Valid TWIC card Minimum 1 year of verifiable recent Class A experience HazMat endorsement preferred, but not required Able to work Monday - Friday daytime hours with occasional Saturday work Comfortable with slip-seat equipment sharing
