CDL-A Dry Van Company Driver

Overview As a CDL-A Company Driver, you’ll move freight safely and reliably using commercial trucks and tractor-trailers. You’ll drive over-the-road (OTR) routes and make deliveries while following assigned routes, GPS navigation, and applicable safety requirements. Work may involve refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation, depending on the load and assignment. Duties Operate commercial vehicles on OTR and route-driving assignments; complete pickup and delivery driving safely and on schedule. Inspect and secure freight, and handle cargo loading and unloading, including manual handling when required. Use GPS navigation and route information to plan and complete trips. Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements when applicable. Your impact: Safe driving and careful freight handling help customers receive their shipments in good condition and on time. Qualifications Required: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A and ability to operate a tractor-trailer with a manual transmission. Required: Commercial truck driving, truck driving, commercial driving, and delivery driver experience. Required: Knowledge of driving safety, freight handling, and applicable FMCSA and DOT regulations. Preferred: Experience with refrigerated trailers, automobile transportation, flatbed or tanker loads, hazmat (hazardous materials), and logistics cargo handling. Ability to load and unload freight and follow hazardous materials regulations when assigned. Pay: $0.60 - $0.65 per mile Work Location: In person
