Non-CDL Box Truck Driver Location: St. Cloud, Florida Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $21-23 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday / Weekends as needed Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and professional Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to join our team in St. Cloud, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a non-CDL box truck to transport and deliver freight, merchandise, or other assigned cargo to designated locations. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, good time-management skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Job Responsibilities Safely operate a non-CDL box truck to transport and deliver freight. Pick up and deliver shipments according to assigned routes and schedules. Load, unload, secure, and inspect cargo to prevent damage during transportation. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate delivery records, invoices, bills of lading, and proof-of-delivery documentation. Follow all applicable federal, Florida state, and local transportation and traffic laws. Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and management. Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, delays, and delivery discrepancies promptly. Keep the truck clean and in good operating condition. Provide courteous and professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations. Qualifications and Requirements Valid driver’s license appropriate for the assigned vehicle. Ability to operate a non-CDL box truck safely and responsibly. Clean driving record preferred. Previous box truck or delivery driving experience preferred. Ability to read directions, follow delivery instructions, and use GPS or navigation applications. Ability to lift, carry, and move cargo as required by the position. Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a professional attitude. Ability to pass applicable background checks and motor vehicle record reviews, where required. Must meet applicable DOT medical qualification and other regulatory requirements for the assigned vehicle and operation, if applicable. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and drive for extended periods. Ability to repeatedly enter and exit the truck. Ability to lift and move packages or freight, with the required lifting capacity specified by the employer. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and warehouse or delivery environments.
