Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Bartender/Server, where your energy and passion for exceptional service will shine! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and craft beers, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit payments securely. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service protocols. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to enhance the menu’s appeal; stay informed about current trends in mixology and brewing. Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills, ensuring prompt service even during busy periods. Assist with bar management duties when needed, including inventory control, stock replenishment, and supporting banquet or catering events to ensure seamless service. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending or serving within the hospitality industry, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and processing transactions accurately. Expertise in mixology techniques, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in restaurant or banquet settings is preferred; knowledge of retail math for inventory management is a plus.
