The AZ Truck Driver position is a crucial part of our landscaping operations. This role places a great emphasis on safety. There is potential opportunity to participate in landscaping operations within this role; however, this is optional. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available for this role. Job duties and responsibilities of the AZ Truck Driver role include, but are not limited to: 1. Operating and transporting the company water truck safely to residential and commercial properties and job sites across Windsor-Essex. Typical jobs that the AZ Truck Driver would be responsible for operating the company water truck on include but are not limited to watering lawns and filling pools. 2. Performing pre- and post-trip inspections and overseeing all aspects of vehicle. 3. Completing and maintaining accurate daily inspection reports and logs. 4. Following Ministry of Transportation regulations as well as highway regulations and laws at all times. 5. Collaborating and communicating with CGM Lawn Care & Lanscaping supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations as it relates to transporting and operating the company water truck on job sites. 6. Wearing personal protective equipment including but not limited to a hard hat, safety vest and steel toe safety shoes. 7. Troubleshooting company water truck maintenance at a basic level and reporting maintenance concerns that may arise. 8. Other related, special duties as assigned. 9. Operating all company vehicles, machinery and equipment safely. 10. Ensuring the company policy and code of conduct are consistently being followed along with maintaining company vehicles, equipment, supplies, and tools. 11. Reporting all issues and concerns identified while performing job duties to the immediate supervisor. Please note, there is also an opportunity to participate in landscaping operations within this role. This is optional. Job duties and responsibilities within landscaping operations would include but are not limited to: 12. Performing yard cleanup duties including weed pulling, raking, shrub and tree trimming, and shrub and tree removal when necessary. 13. Installing and/or refreshing planting beds and playing a key role in landscape design and build projects. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting in pool installations, planting, and installing mulch, stone, and/or woodchip beds. 14. Aiding in the sod installation and hydroseed installation process. This involves preparing and fertilizing the land and manually laying down sod. 15. Assisting in removing snow and performing salting services across residential and commercial properties based in Windsor-Essex County.
