Contingent Upon Funding: Contingent upon funding Standard Work Schedule: Shift: Other Shift If Not a Standard Work Schedule: Mornings, Nights, Weekends, Holidays, Travel Required Job Duties and Responsibilities: Under the general supervision of the Appropriate Administrator, the Assistant Athletic Director, Equipment Operations and Apparel is responsible for the strategic oversight of the Athletics Department’s equipment and apparel operations, including vendor relations, apparel sourcing, inventory management, budget oversight, licensing compliance, and equipment operations for all varsity sports. Serves as the primary liaison with the department’s apparel provider to maximize contract benefits while ensuring exceptional service to coaches and student-athletes. This position provides leadership and oversight of equipment operations, apparel procurement and distribution, inventory control, and related services across the Athletics Department. Works collaboratively with coaches, staff, student-athletes, and vendors, to ensure equipment and apparel needs are effectively and efficiently met. The Assistant Athletic Director, Equipment Operations and Apparel is responsible for developing and maintaining operational procedures, monitoring equipment and apparel inventory, coordinating purchasing and distribution, and ensuring compliance with university, conference, NCAA, and apparel licensing requirements. The position also assists with contract management, budget planning, and identifying opportunities to maximize departmental resources and vendor partnerships. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Associate's Degree + 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 2 years of relevant experience.
