ASC Materials Manager/Certified Surgical Technologist
Genesis Surgery CenterJob Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an ASC Materials Manager and Certified Surgical Technologist, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ambulatory surgery center. This dual-role position combines expertise in surgical technology with materials management, supporting high-quality patient care and efficient surgical workflows. You will oversee the procurement, sterilization, and inventory of surgical supplies and instruments while assisting in a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold the highest standards of infection control, patient safety, and operational excellence. Duties Manage inventory levels of surgical supplies, instruments, and medical equipment to ensure readiness for all procedures Assist surgeons and healthcare professionals during surgeries by preparing sterile fields, passing instruments, and ensuring proper technique when needed Maintain accurate documentation of medical records, compliance documents, and scheduling of required maintenance visits. Coordinate and assist with operational tasks regarding vendors and equipment needs. Qualifications Certification as a Surgical Technologist (Certified Surgical Technologist - CST) or equivalent credential required Extensive knowledge of surgical instruments, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and sterile processing protocols Strong analysis skills for inventory management and process improvement initiatives Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure settings Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems or similar platforms for documentation purposes Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
