Responsibilities Assist delivery drivers with loading, unloading, and securing appliances onto trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts Support the route driving process by helping to load items accurately and efficiently for timely deliveries Help carry appliances into customers’ homes or designated locations, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage Collaborate with drivers to verify delivery addresses, navigate routes, and complete delivery paperwork accurately Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering basic questions, and ensuring their satisfaction during delivery Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper lifting procedures, traffic laws, and company safety protocols during all activities Requirements Prior experience in customer service or warehouse environments preferred but not required; a positive attitude is essential! Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; previous experience with manual handling is a plus Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is advantageous; certification is a bonus Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles preferred Strong physical stamina for moving appliances and standing for extended periods during shifts Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing friendly customer interactions Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Embark on an energetic career path that values your effort and dedication.
