Ambulatory Medical Transportation Driver | Miami-Dade and Broward
ConfidentialNuezra Health Services is hiring three W-2 ambulatory drivers, two in Miami-Dade and one in Broward. We’re looking for patient, dependable drivers who take care of people, communicate clearly, and give riders the time and assistance they need. Pay: $17/hr plus $0.35 per approved business mile for cleared drivers. Candidates who need approved training or credentials may start at $16/hr during paid onboarding, plus $0.35 per approved business mile when using their own vehicle for assigned work. Weekly pay and a 90-day performance review with eligibility for a raise. What you’ll do Greet riders respectfully, explain what to expect, and confirm what help they need before assisting. Provide assigned door-to-door or facility escort assistance within your training, including room-to-vehicle assistance when scheduled. Check with dispatch if a rider needs more help than the trip specifies. Submit a daily vehicle condition inspection in the driver app before your first trip. Report defects immediately and keep an unsafe vehicle out of service. Arrive within the pickup window, communicate delays promptly, and document each trip. What we’re looking for Experience in non-emergency medical transportation, paratransit, caregiving, or patient-facing customer service preferred. Valid Florida driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and a personal vehicle that meets inspection and insurance requirements. A roomy sedan, minivan, or small SUV is preferred. Current chauffeur registration (hack license), CPR/First Aid, PASS, and defensive driving credentials preferred. Applicable credentials and clearances must be verified before independent passenger trips. English required for rider and dispatch communication. Spanish or Haitian Creole is a plus.
