Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting/Supply Chain Specialist to join our team! Specific Description of Activities · General administration/accounting – supply ordering, customer interaction including answering administration and accounting related questions, incoming physical mail routing. · Phone reception – front line phone reception and routing appropriately when the request cannot be handled by position. This includes accepting customer orders over the phone and invoice generation. · Company file management – this includes collecting and maintaining employee and company files in a professional manner. · Walk-in customer/employee interaction and payment for product. · Payroll Processing – entering appropriate hours, deductions, etc, into payroll system · Accounts receivable – accepting and processing payments and depositing payments after entering into system. · Collections – accounts receivable aging and collection activity for any account over due 30 days. · On premise cash management – securing and holding on site cash including depositing cash weekly. · Invoicing/Purchase Order Closing – collection of invoices, matching invoice to purchase order, closing out purchase order if matching and processing invoice in a timely manner. If the invoice does not match the associated purchase order, the Accounting/Supply Chain Specialist is to meet with the purchaser and adjust as necessary to get to accurate purchase order close out. · Product receiving – when necessary, receive product by purchase order · Inventory assistance – Creating items and ensuring item accuracy within ERP · Accounts Payable – Working with accounting team to ensure timely payments to vendors Shipping/Receiving administrative support - Organizing and printing route paperwork for the warehouse/fish processing room - Checking and adjusting invoices for accuracy - Processing finished routes, updates weights for weighted items - Processing inbound receipts, creating P.O.’s and invoices as needed. - Printing invoices and trucking paperwork for shipments - Assistance with inventory checks/accuracy - cycle counts - Working with Sales and account managers as needed - General warehouse office support - Other administrative tasks as assigned Join us as an Accounting/Supply Chain Specialist where your expertise fuels operational success!
