Position Summary North American Textile Co., LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant, FP&A to support accounting operations, month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate has strong accounting, analytical, and organizational skills and works effectively across departments. This is a full-time position based onsite in Glendale, California, five days per week. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis Support the annual budgeting and financial planning process. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts. Analyze actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods and explain significant variances. Prepare financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support business decisions. Assist in developing revenue, expense, profitability, and cash-flow forecasts. Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators. Accounting & Financial Reporting Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare and maintain account reconciliations and supporting schedules. Analyze general ledger accounts and investigate unusual or significant fluctuations. Ensure financial information used for management reporting is accurate and properly supported. Work with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies between accounting records and operational data. Support preparation of monthly management reporting packages. Data Analysis & Reporting Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models and reporting tools. Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial reports for management. Analyze trends in revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, working capital, and other financial metrics. Consolidate financial information from multiple departments or business units. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and communicate findings to management. Business Partnership Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Sales, Procurement, and other departments to understand financial results. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions. Assist management with cost-control and profitability improvement initiatives. Support special projects and other financial analyses as requested. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial analysis, or corporate finance. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and financial statements, with working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger accounting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, PivotCharts, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, IF and nested formulas, data validation, conditional formatting, and financial modeling. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Effective organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information clearly. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial and business information. Reliable transportation and the ability to work onsite at the Glendale office five days per week.
