What You'll Do Core Responsibilities: Safely and accurately select and hand-pull customer orders by working off of shipping manifests Safely and accurately load and secure customer orders for next-day delivery using a sit-down forklift Unload material from trailers and stock it in designated areas Assist will-call customers by retrieving orders and loading their vehicles in a safe, timely, and efficient manner Maintain a clean and organized work area Understand and follow company policies and procedures Day-to-Day Activities: Become experienced and knowledgeable of company products Manage paperwork and reports, as required Participate in company-mandated training How We Measure Success Through Defined Key Performance Indicators: Customer orders selected, loaded, and secured for on-time next-day delivery Order selection accuracy against shipping manifests Load accuracy and securement Safe work record What We're Looking For EducationExperience: High school diploma or equivalent required Warehouse, distribution, or building materials experience is a plus Essential Skills: Reliable, responsible self-starter who is eager to learn and works well independently and as part of a team Basic math skills and strong attention to detail Strong customer service and communication skills, with experience working effectively with a wide range of people Ability to handle multiple work assignments simultaneously Requirements: On-site position at our Lancaster, PA location; available for night shift work (Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM) and overtime on short notice Forklift driver's license, or ability to be trained and certified Must be able to lift 70 pounds, stand or walk for long periods of time, and work in varying weather conditions Alert and focused, with knowledge of workplace safety standards CompensationBenefits We invest in our people.
