1099 Contractor Warehouse & Fulfillment Associate

Overview Goodman Home Solutions (GHS) is a national provider of end-to-end service solutions across the home appliance lifecycle. We support OEMs, retailers, and warranty providers by providing systems infrastructure, field execution, and parts distribution. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented 1099 Contract Warehouse Associate / Inventory & Fulfillment Specialist to support daily warehouse operations at our Madison, Alabama facility. This role is responsible for inventory management, freight receiving and put-away, order picking, packing, fulfillment, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, comfortable using computers and mobile devices, and capable of working in a fast-paced logistics and service environment. Candidates with warehouse, stockkeeping, shipping, appliance, electronics, or parts handling experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Overview / Summary Description of Responsibilities Receive inbound freight shipments and verify quantities and condition of products Perform freight put-away and maintain accurate warehouse organization Pick, pack, and prepare customer and technician orders for shipment or pickup Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse software and mobile devices Label, sort, and stage products and materials appropriately Assist with shipping, receiving, and returns processing Operate basic warehouse equipment safely and responsibly Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment Communicate effectively with warehouse leadership, dispatch, customer service, and field teams Support general warehouse and logistics operations as needed Requirements & Qualifications High school diploma or GED Basic PC and mobile phone/tablet experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift and move packages, inventory, and materials safely Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and customer service mindset Preferred Previous warehouse, stockkeeping, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience Experience with scanners, inventory systems, or fulfillment platforms Appliance, electronics, or service parts handling experience Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.
