Yard Worker

Duties Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Operate cranes and heavy machinery safely to move large or bulky items within the yard Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately Manage inventory levels by organizing stock, conducting cycle counts, and updating records Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety protocols and safety guidelines Support opperations supervisors in daily operations, including materials handling and logistics coordination Skills Proven experience in distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, or related roles Strong knowledge of operations and materials handling procedures Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently Familiarity with inventory management Manual handling skills with an emphasis on heavy lifting and proper ergonomics Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory data Excellent adherence to safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment while advancing their skills in equipment operation and logistics.
