Yard Supervisor

Job Category: Operations Job Type: Full Time Job Location: Hutto REPORTS TO: Yard/Shipping Manager SPECIFICATIONS OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Shipping Manager with coordinating activities of workers in the yard Backup for Shipping Manager Check shipments and deliveries for accuracy Perform necessary yard duties as needed SPECIFICATIONS OF AUTHORITIES: Instruct yard employees REQUIRED QUALIFICATION(S): Leadership and Management skills The ability to read a tape measure and perform simple calculations Willingness to work outside in all types of weather Lift and move heavy objects, sometimes in excess of 50 pounds Operate a forklift Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work overtime hours as needed (sometimes on a regular basis) The ability to work well with others OTHER DETAILS: Hours are Monday through Friday, 7AM-4PM Position is non-exempt with overtime being paid after 40 hours worked a week Competitive Benefits & Programs Excellence is a non-negotiable aspect of our culture.
