Position Summary : We are seeking someone who enjoys working outdoors, oversees daily yard operations, and leads a team responsible for unloading, inspecting, assembling, and preparing trailers. Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) Lead, manage, and hold accountable all yard staff and delegate daily tasks. Maintain adequate staffing and ensure work coverage at all times. Perform routine process and safety training for all yard staff. Oversee unloading of utility trailers, car haulers, equipment trailers, etc. Assist with trailer assembly when needed Inspect incoming trailers for damage, missing parts, or defects and communicate issues immediately. Perform basic maintenance and frequent washing of forklifts and telehandlers. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the Service team ASAP. Monitor Daily Forklift Safety Check Sheets for each unit daily. Handle paperwork and documentation when receiving shipments of trailers. Monitor outgoing deliveries and track details using the SR1 Logistics Google Sheet. Maintain frequent communication with Sales and Service Managers, including weekly meetings. Inform the sales manager of load arrivals with photos, brands, and load numbers.
