Schedule & Shift Availability
We have multiple 12-hour shift opportunities available:
Day Shifts (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM)
• Thursday – Saturday, plus every other Wednesday
• Sunday – Tuesday, plus every other Wednesday
• Friday – Sunday, plus every other Thursday
Night Shifts (9:00 PM – 9:00 AM)
• Thursday – Saturday, plus every other Wednesday
• Sunday – Tuesday, plus every other Wednesday
• Friday – Sunday, plus every other Thursday
Candidates must be available to work their assigned schedule.
Pay & Compensation
• $24.00/hour – Class C License / Yard Hostler
• $28.00/hour – Class A CDL / Yard Hostler
• Overtime pay after 8 hours worked daily
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 6 months of recent Yard Hostler experience within the last 2 years.
• Valid Class A CDL or Class C driver's license.
• Ability to safely maneuver and position equipment within the yard.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform daily yard operations in an outdoor environment (approximately 99% outdoors).
• Maintain, organize, and properly position equipment throughout the yard.
• Walk the yard regularly to monitor equipment and maintain an organized work environment.
• Conduct equipment and yard audits.
• Safely climb in and out of trucks throughout the shift.
• Communicate with management and outside vendors by phone regarding equipment maintenance and repair needs.
• Identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to walk throughout the yard for extended periods.
• Ability to repeatedly climb in and out of trucks.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of daily yard operations.
