Yard Hostler / Yard Driver – CDL Required

KDC/One Northern Labs | Manitowoc, WI Join our Warehouse team at KDC/One Northern Labs! We’re seeking a dependable, safety-focused employee to move trailers and tankers, make local material deliveries, and support warehouse operations. Position Details Shift: 3rd Pay: $26-30/hr Employment Type: Fulltime Department: Warehouse What You’ll Do Move trailers to and from receiving and loading docks using our company-owned yard tractor. Move dropped tankers to and from the tanker unloading area. Maintain an inventory of full and empty trailers in the trailer drop lot. Retrieve Quality Assurance samples from dropped trailers following established procedures. Pick up and deliver materials to local vendors and outside warehouses as assigned. Load and unload trucks and move materials to and from warehouse bin locations. Enter and review inventory movements using a computer. Perform physical inventory counts and rotate stock as needed. Follow established procedures for identifying and marking materials. Operate forklifts and other assigned material-handling equipment. Maintain a clean, orderly work area and report mechanical issues promptly. Qualifications High school diploma. Valid CDL required Hazardous materials and tanker endorsements, or the combined X endorsement. Hazmat certification. Forklift certification. Completion of the required driver physical. Basic computer and math skills. Warehouse experience is a plus. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Ability to lift or exert force up to 50 pounds as required. Work involves sitting, standing, walking, operating vehicle controls, and transferring materials. Exposure to outdoor weather, including cold, rain, ice, snow, and heat. Work around moving equipment, chemicals, and loud noise. Steel-toed safety shoes, safety glasses, and additional task-specific PPE are required.
