Overview Pine Valley Corporation is an established general contractor with over 40 years of experience delivering municipal parks, recreational facilities, civil infrastructure, and landscape construction projects throughout Southern Ontario. We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Yard Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction yard, including equipment, materials, inventory, and coordination of deliveries to and from active job sites. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily yard operations, ensuring the yard is organized, clean, safe, and operating efficiently. Coordinate the movement of construction equipment, tools, and materials between the yard and various job sites. Prepare and organize equipment, tools, and materials for scheduled deliveries and pickups. Receive incoming deliveries, verify quantities, and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory records of tools, equipment, materials, and supplies. Track equipment and tool sign-outs, returns, and availability. Coordinate equipment maintenance, servicing, inspections, and repairs. Communicate regularly with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and Operations Management regarding equipment and material requirements. Assist with loading and unloading trucks and organizing materials for transportation. Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment of frequently used materials and supplies. Ensure equipment and materials are properly stored and secured. Maintain compliance with company health and safety policies and applicable regulations. Identify opportunities to improve yard organization, inventory management, and operational efficiency. Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience in construction yard operations, equipment coordination, warehousing, or a similar role. Familiarity with construction equipment, tools, and materials, particularly those used in civil construction and landscaping. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with field and office personnel. Basic computer skills and experience maintaining inventory records. Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving record. Forklift or heavy equipment operating experience is considered an asset. Mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of equipment maintenance. Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong commitment to workplace health and safety. Pay: $18.09-$29.25 per hour Work Location: In person
