The primary responsibilities of this role include assisting with loading and unloading trucks, supporting parts shipping, managing inventory, and contributing to general cleaning and landscaping tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and inventory management processes. **Key Responsibilities:** **Rigging:** Assist in loading and unloading equipment onto/from trucks, ensuring proper handling and secure transport of items. Collaborate with the logistics team to maintain efficient loading and unloading procedures. **Parts Shipping:** Provide assistance in preparing and packaging parts for shipping to clients and suppliers. Ensure accurate labelling, documentation, and compliance with shipping regulations. **Inventory Management:** Help maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating the inventory management system. Collaborate with colleagues to track and report on inventory levels. **General Cleaning and Landscaping:** Contribute to the cleanliness and appearance of the facility by participating in general cleaning and landscaping tasks as needed. Maintain a safe and organized working environment. **Collaboration:** Work closely with the logistics team, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure efficient operations. Communicate effectively to provide support and resolve any issues that may arise. **Qualifications:** High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certification is a plus. Prior experience in logistics, inventory management, or warehouse operations is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to accurately track inventory and handle shipping processes. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, perform manual labor, and work in varying weather conditions. Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work as part of a team. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management tasks. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse environment.
