Woodshop Production Manager

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Woodshop Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in the production sector. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily production activities, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Duties Manage and supervise all woodshop production activities, ensuring timely completion of projects aligned with quality standards. Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes utilizing lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies. Oversee inventory management and supply chain coordination to ensure materials are available for production schedules. Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain product excellence and adherence to specifications. Lead assembly operations, ensuring proper techniques are followed for optimal product integrity. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions. Collaborate with Operations to optimize manufacturing methods for new products or modifications. Maintain compliance with safety regulations, promote a safety-first culture, and conduct regular safety audits. Requirements Proven experience managing production or manufacturing operations, with strong mechanical knowledge of machinery and tools. Demonstrated ability in management of a diverse community of workers. Solid understanding of supply chain logistics, inventory control, and procurement processes. Knowledge of quality control standards relevant to manufacturing environments. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive operational excellence. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Effective communication skills to coordinate across departments and ensure clear understanding of objectives.
