GATE CLERK CUSTOMER SERVICE / DIspatcher

Ensure the correct physical and system-based check-in of all vehicles accessing the Patio facilities and their specific purpose through the monitoring of the daily appointment plan. In the same way, carry out in a timely and correct manner the systematic dispatch and/or deregistration of vehicles, as well as the updated maintenance of the BI Yard dashboard as far as exits and departures are concerned. Ensure proper completion of interchange documentation for empty vehicles and/or direct inbound units, completed by the driver bringing in the vehicle. Register and remove vehicles in the “Control de Cajas” system according to the corresponding warehouse and type of operation. Capture photographs and record entry and exit evidence of trailers in the ERECAP system. Properly place security seals and provide required documentation to outbound dispatch vehicles. Manage the gate entry flow with agility, proactivity, and a sense of urgency, handling an approximate volume of 200 daily movements . Maintain constant communication throughout the shift with Warehouse Supervisors, Traffic, and Receiving teams to ensure proper entry, door assignment, and efficient yard and dock management. Use radio communication and email to respond promptly to requests from Supervisors, Warehouse Manager, and Logistics Manager. Maintain excellent communication with drivers, managing and de-escalating potential issues or conflicts. Provide excellent customer service , ensuring professional interaction with drivers, visitors, and internal teams at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area (inside and outside). Report yard incidents such as equipment damage or access control gate issues, instruct drivers to remain on-site, and notify a supervisor. Report directly to the Gate Supervisor. - Direct report to Warehouse Supervisor.
