Wire Warehouse Associate

Location Teaneck, NJ : 411 Alfred Avenue, Teaneck, NJ (Monday-Friday 7am-5pm) Key Responsibilities Receiving & Inventory: Unload incoming wire shipments, verify quantities and descriptions against paperwork, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations. Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare custom wire orders for shipping, ensuring strict compliance with customer requirements. Equipment Operation: Safely operate wire-cutting equipment and warehouse machinery, including forklifts (training provided). Housekeeping: Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Physical Requirements Lifting: Regularly lift and move objects weighing 10–50 lbs, and occasionally lift items over 50 lbs. Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull frequently throughout an 8-hour shift. Dexterity: Continuous use of hands and arms to grasp, hold, manipulate, and carry materials. Environment: Ability to work comfortably in a warehouse setting subject to both hot and cold climate changes. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Previous warehouse, production, or material handling experience required. Skills: Strong basic math skills (comfort using measuring tapes and calculating lengths). Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus, or a willingness to be trained and certified. Attributes: High attention to detail, reliability, and a safety-first mindset.
