Will Call / Counter Sales Associate

Job description: Direct Bolt & Supply is an ISO 9001-certified industrial fastener distributor serving oil & gas, industrial, and construction customers across the Houston area. Our will call counter is a fast-paced environment where customers count on us to get them the right parts quickly and get them back to the job site. We're looking for talented, self-motivated people who want a long-term career in industrial distribution. This is an entry-level position with lots of room for advancement, and we'll train you on fasteners. Duties include, but are not limited to: - Managing will call orders and serving as the main point of contact for customers at the counter - Pulling orders in the warehouse - Checking will call orders against the sales order and packing list to make sure every order is accurate before release - Staging orders for pickup and confirming customer and PO details at hand-off - Shipping and receiving inventory - Managing inventory, including cycle counts - Assisting the sales team with customers - Keeping will call clean and organized Recommended Qualities: - Thrives in a fast-paced environment and stays accurate under pressure - Able to juggle walk-in customers, phone calls, and order pulling at the same time - Clear verbal communication (in person + phone) - Professional and friendly demeanor - Strong attention to detail - Reliable and punctual - Counter sales, parts counter, supply house, or warehouse experience a plus - Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Applicants must be 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and be able to move packages that weigh up to 75 lbs.
