North American Specialty LaminationsDescription: The Warehouse Lead is responsible for warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling. This position supervises shipping-related personnel including Material Handlers. Requirements: Responsibilities Establish and maintain appropriate procedures and processes to ensure the accurate and orderly management warehouse inventory. Lead and provide general daily instruction to shipping-related personnel(Material Handler). Communicate with external logistics personnel and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate shipping schedules and inventory shipments. Receive incoming material and ships outgoing material, product, or supplies by following established company procedures including receiving and releasing product in the ERP system. Perform accurate cycle counts per company schedule. Maintain inventory accuracy for warehouse bins and slit material. Issue and return material to jobs. Confirm and tag all incoming shipments. Set up shipping schedules including coordinating outbound freight. Transfer materials in the ERP system between sites and bin locations. Deliver and route materials to departments, using work devices such as hand truck, forklift, conveyor, or sorting bins. Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools, power tools, and postage meter. Prepare documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping orders to route materials. May perform other duties as assigned. Education, Skills & Experience 4+ years’ experience in inventory management. 4+ years’ forklift experience in a manufacturing or industrial work environment. 2+ years’ in a leadership role or demonstrated leadership within his teammates. Ability to obtain DOT Federal Medical card and certified road testing. Great interpersonal communication skills to show the ability to collaborate within a team and communicate effectively. Experience working under minimal supervision. Strong math skills. Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills and orientation to detail. Willingness to learn and accommodate changes in all processes; ability to multi-task and work under a fast-paced environment while promoting a team environment. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor) a plus. Must be able to successfully learn to work in Excel. Often requires driving a forklift outside to transport materials from warehouse to warehouse. Industrial manufacturing floor with moderate to high noise and heat levels. May require working in shifts, overtime, or weekends as production demands.
