Wave Planner

POSTION TITLE Shift Coordinator JOB DESCRIPTION The Shift Coordinator will be responsible for managing and prioritizing workflow of outbound delivery processing throughout the distribution center in order to meet business needs. The Shift Coordinator will execute wave planning coordinate orders with customer service, and operations, track the progress of waves, release work to the floor, and maintain an open line of communication with the operations management team. Must closely monitor, through the warehouse management system, wave status to prevent bottlenecks. JOB DUTIES & RESPONBILTIES Develop, analyze, modify, and execute the Wave Plan to confirm ship schedules are met for all customers while maintaining a level of workload of activity across all shifts. Completes the waves in warehouse management system to include fixing wave shortages. Completes and send out hourly reports and final reports to include fixing wave shortages. Prioritize daily schedules and create reports as needed to monitor, track and measure performance at all levels. Work closely with inventory teams to ensure inventory integrity when replacement product is needed to fill orders. Translates projected order forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into outbound production plan with a time-phased output driven by customer required date. Provide basic information for CS to meet customer requirements. Measure and monitor capacity to process outbound delivery order and notify operations managements of any gaps. Resolve rejected orders created through the waving process in a timely manner to ensure orders do not age as a result of the rejection. Perform other job-related duties assigned.
