Warehouse Worker

Job Purpose: To perform physical tasks related to the receiving, storage, and distribution of marine spare parts, ensuring accurate inventory handling and timely fulfillment of orders. Key Responsibilities: Category Responsibilities ReceivingInspection Unload incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, and verify quantities against shipping documents. Inventory Handling Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization for easy retrieval. Order Fulfillment Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently according to order specifications. Equipment Operation Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with company policies. Inventory Accuracy Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts, reporting any discrepancies to supervisors. Safety Compliance Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Team Collaboration Work closely with warehouse team members and logistics personnel to support smooth operations. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred but not required Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification a plus) Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods Basic reading and math skills Core Competencies: Competency Description Attention to Detail Ensures accuracy in order picking and inventory handling.
