ConfidentialPosition Purpose: The primary function of the Warehouse Worker is to be responsible for warehouse maintenance, shipping and receiving, product storage, inventory organization, and delivery preparation activities while supporting safe and efficient warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures. Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling accurate materials, and placing them in the appropriate area for customer pickup or delivery. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Maintain inventory controls by minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy. Organize the warehouse and manage bin locations to support efficient operations. Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service. Ensure equipment is maintained and operated according to company standards. Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as authorized and trained. Assist with product storage, material handling, and delivery setup activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Direct Manager/Direct Reports: Reports to the department manager. No direct reports. Travel Requirements: Little to no travel required. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots, as required. Will frequently move about inside the warehouse, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to operate warehouse machinery and equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to communicate with team members, customers, and management and exchange accurate information in these situations, with or without reasonable accommodation. Working Conditions: Constantly works in a warehouse environment. Regular exposure to warehouse equipment, moving machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Frequent material handling and interaction with inventory, equipment, and delivery vehicles. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to safely load, unload, move, and stock materials. Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately. Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to operate or learn to operate basic warehouse equipment. Preferred Qualifications: Forklift experience preferred. Experience in construction, building materials, delivery, or a related industry preferred. Familiarity with material handling and inventory storage practices preferred. Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Education: High School Diploma preferred. Minimum Years of Work Experience: 0-1 years of experience in warehouse, material handling, delivery, construction, or a related field. Certifications: None required. Inventory Management: Accurately receives, stores, tracks, and moves inventory according to established processes.
