Warehouse VAS Lead
Beauty by EarthWarehouse VAS Lead Role Summary Beauty by Earth is looking for a decisive, detail-oriented VAS Lead to run kitting, bundling, relabeling, Amazon FBA prep, and retailer/wholesale compliance prep at our warehouse in Carrollton, Texas. This is a hands-on lead role. You will run our value-added services (VAS) line day to day, lead a crew of agency temps, and own our automated label applicator and the kitting line that follows it. You will make sure every unit leaving VAS is correct, both on the shelf and in our ERP system. You’ll report to our Inventory Manager and work closely with our inbound and outbound teams. You will receive training, documented procedures, and clear guidelines, but you must be comfortable making decisions, holding a team to standard, and catching mistakes before they ship. Key Responsibilities Kitting & Production Plan and run daily kitting, bundling, relabeling, and retailer prep from manufacturing orders in our ERP (Fulfil) Operate and maintain our automated label applicator and future kitting line: setup, changeovers, uptime, and basic upkeep Help prioritize kitting capacity and output to meet launch, replenishment, and wholesale deadlines Quality & Accuracy Check the first piece of every order and sign off on quality before product moves to putaway Close manufacturing orders in the system the same day, with correct lot numbers and quantities Track and report daily output, accuracy, and labor hours Temp Team Leadership Serve as the single point of contact for all agency temps in the building: scheduling headcount in our staffing partners’ apps, check-in, training, attendance, and conduct Lead the VAS temp crew day to day: assign work, train, and hold the team to standard Safety & Teamwork Keep the VAS area safe, clean, and organized Operate forklift and reach truck as needed Communicate clearly with the Inventory Manager, inbound lead, and outbound team so work hands off without gaps Keep the VAS area and temp break room safe, clean, stocked, and organized. What We’re Looking For 2 or more years in warehouse, kitting, co-packing, or light assembly work, with at least 1 year leading people or a production line Hands-on experience with a WMS or ERP and handheld scanners Strong attention to detail. You notice a wrong label or a short count before it leaves the area. Decisive. You set priorities, adjust when plans change, and do not wait to be told what is next. Comfortable with basic math, counts, and simple reports in Excel or Google Sheets Forklift and reach truck certified, or willing to get certified. We pay for the course and train you to drive. Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand and walk for a full shift Strongly preferred: Bilingual Spanish and English Nice to have: experience with label applicators or automated packaging equipment, Amazon FBA and retailer prep requirements, managing staffing agency temps.
