We are looking for a Warehouse Technician – Inventory & Cycle Count to support our Portland operations. This position will have a strong focus on inventory accuracy, cycle counting, material transactions, and discrepancy investigation , while also supporting day-to-day warehouse activities such as receiving, material handling, kitting, and shipping. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with ERP systems, and experienced in maintaining accurate inventory in a manufacturing or distribution environment. What You’ll Do Inventory Control & Cycle Counting Perform scheduled and ad hoc cycle counts across warehouse inventory locations. Verify physical inventory against ERP system quantities. Research and investigate inventory discrepancies, including incorrect quantities, locations, transactions, or material identification. Document count results and escalate discrepancies requiring additional review or adjustment. Complete approved inventory adjustments accurately in the ERP system. Support annual and periodic physical inventory activities. Help identify root causes of recurring inventory discrepancies. Maintain accurate warehouse locations, part identification, and inventory traceability. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving inventory accuracy and reducing transaction errors. Receiving & Material Handling Receive incoming materials, components, and supplies. Verify quantities against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation. Inspect incoming shipments for visible damage and identify discrepancies. Label, identify, and store materials in designated warehouse locations. Complete receiving and inventory transactions accurately within the ERP system. Production Support & Kitting Pick and prepare materials and parts for production work orders. Prepare kits according to production requirements. Deliver materials to production areas based on operational priorities. Verify that materials issued to production match the correct part numbers and quantities. Support the return and reconciliation of unused production materials. Shipping Support packing, labeling, staging, and shipment preparation. Assist with shipping documentation and carrier requirements. Verify outgoing materials and quantities before shipment. Inventory Traceability & Quality Maintain accurate material identification and traceability throughout warehouse processes. Follow established procedures for quarantined, rejected, controlled, or non-conforming materials. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchasing, Planning, and Shipping teams to resolve inventory and material issues. Warehouse Operations Operate warehouse and material-handling equipment safely when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Follow established safety procedures and 5S standards. What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, material handling, or a related position. Hands-on experience performing cycle counts or physical inventory counts . Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy. Comfortable using computers and ERP or inventory-management systems. Experience completing inventory transactions such as receipts, transfers, issues, and adjustments.
