Warehouse Technician

We sell and install blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, closets, awnings, patio covers, retractable screens, louvered pergolas and more for both residential and commercial customers. Job Description The R&B Pacific Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving, shipping, maintaining warehouse organization and various tasks related to product repairs, stock parts and basic assembly. The technician will ensure a safe and efficient warehouse operation. In addition, the technician will help with installations in the field as needed. This position will work under the supervision of the Warehouse & Operations Manager and will complete additional duties as assigned. Product specific training will be provided. Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Receiving, Shipping and Packaging Receiving and Unloading: Receive incoming shipments, verify their contents, and unload products from delivery trucks Receive returned items and process them accordingly Load and unload goods onto and from shelves, pallets, or delivery vehicles Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, sealing, and arranging for carrier pickups Complete and maintain accurate records, such as shipping/receiving logs Accurately pick items from inventory based on order requests and package them securely for shipment. Ensure that orders are complete and error-free. Maintain stock parts required for repairs and drapery rod assembly. Submit requests for additional stock to the administrative / office team. Complete and maintain accurate inventory counts, and inspection reports Installation Assistance Drapery Rod Assembly using stock parts Assisting with installations as needed for both Pacific Awnings and Ruffell & Brown products. General Building Maintenance Routine cleaning, organizing stock & equipment and maintenance of tools to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. Order office/warehouse supplies or pickup locally (ie: soap, paper products, light bulbs, etc.) Operate pallet jack, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload goods onto and from shelves, pallets, or delivery vehicles. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe handling procedures Job Requirements Work experience in warehouse preferred Can work independently and without supervision Work experience with power and hand tools preferred Ability to read tape measure to 1/8” General construction experience preferred Ability to learn quickly through training and experience Must be detail oriented Punctuality, professionalism and being a team player Be reliable and have a desire to learn new things to be more valuable to the team Honesty and constant communication are a necessity Valid driver's license is needed Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management Capable of lifting heavy objects (100lbs+) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Benefits: Company events Dental care Extended health care Life insurance Store discount Application question(s): Are you capable of lifting heavy objects 100+lbs?
