Duties
• Operate various types of warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, order pickers, cranes, and other material handling machinery in accordance with safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory control by accurately picking, packing, stocking, and organizing products using inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage and maintain safety standards.
• Conduct shipping and receiving activities by verifying orders against shipping documents and updating inventory records in AS400 or similar systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety regulations such as OSHA guidelines and PPE use.
• Support order fulfillment processes through precise order picking and packing to meet customer deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse operations, improve workflow efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
• Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, crane operations, or pallet jacks is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, inventory management, and materials handling.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper manual handling techniques.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
• Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., AS400) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment through PPE use and adherence to safety protocols.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.
• Previous warehouse experience or warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous for this role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions clearly.

Pay: $23.57 - $28.38 per hour
