Fontanesi & Kann is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Support / Driver to join our team in Ferndale, MI. This junior-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is organized, and is interested in building a long-term career within the HVAC industry. This role will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving and organizing inventory, preparing orders, and delivering materials to customers and job sites. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and enjoys working as part of a team. At Fontanesi & Kann, we believe in promoting from within. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment or pickup. Safely deliver HVAC equipment, parts, and materials to customers and job sites using company vehicles. Load and unload deliveries while ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment. Assist with inventory counts, order fulfillment, and tracking incoming and outgoing materials. Work closely with warehouse, sales, and operations teams to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time. Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries and pickups. Support additional warehouse and operational tasks as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials and equipment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and willing to take initiative. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others. Previous warehouse, delivery, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. Interest in learning about the HVAC industry and pursuing long-term career growth.
