Shipping Clerk

Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping Clerk, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods through our warehouse operations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, managing inventory, and supporting order fulfillment processes. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining compliance with trade regulations and safety standards. Duties Prepare and process outbound shipments using shipping logistics and inventory management software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Receive, inspect, and document inbound shipments, verifying quantities and conditions against purchase orders. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers to load and unload trucks efficiently. Manage order picking, packing, and labeling to ensure correct fulfillment for e-commerce and wholesale orders. Maintain accurate records of shipping & receiving activities using ERP systems like AS400 or similar inventory management software. Coordinate with warehouse distribution teams to optimize stock levels, stocking procedures, and warehouse operations. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards during all shipping activities. Skills Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems (e.g., AS400), and inventory management software. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and warehouse distribution techniques. Excellent data entry skills combined with basic math abilities for accurate documentation and calculations. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers. Familiarity with packaging standards, order picking & packing procedures, and load & unload operations. Ability to navigate Microsoft Office tools for reporting and communication purposes. Understanding of international trade regulations, trade compliance requirements, and e-commerce logistics.
