In this role, you will lead a team and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace. Your typical shift will be Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customers. How you create impact Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity, and meet or exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, product is counted, and all necessary records and reports are completed accurately and on time Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory Implement continuous improvement action plans Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed What we would like you to bring High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment 2 or more years in a supervisory role At least 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) What's in it for you At Kuehne+Nagel we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to our colleagues. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
