 We’ve officially opened the doors to our brand-new facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and we’re building a strong team to support this exciting growth. As part of that effort, we’re looking to add a Warehouse Supervisor who will join the team to help shape our operations from day one and ensure our warehouse team and customers receive the exceptional service Van Eerden is known for.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee all receiving, put-away, replenishment, selecting, and loading activities to ensure accurate and efficient product flow.
  • Guide employees on proper warehouse techniques and reinforce best practices across receiving, selection, loading, and equipment use.
  • Monitor workflow, labor utilization, breaks, and dock time to improve overall time management and productivity.
  • Complete regular employee performance observations and review TZA or similar performance reports with team members.
  • Support training, onboarding, and continued development of new and existing employees.
  • Investigate credits, errors, product damage, and process breakdowns; communicate findings and corrective actions to employees.
  • Ensure product integrity through accurate labeling, rotation, stocking, and documentation.
  • Review and evaluate receiving efficiency, order accuracy, and process execution; recommend improvements as needed.
  • Enforce safety standards and promote a culture committed to achieving company safety goals.
  • Collaborate across departments and assist in other operational areas when needed.

 What You Bring

You understand the full spectrum of warehouse operations, including the handling of perishable and temperature-controlled products. You bring at least three years of experience in a foodservice distribution warehouse, ideally with prior supervisory responsibility. You’re comfortable operating material-handling equipment such as end riders, sit-down forklifts, and reach trucks, and you bring strong interpersonal skills that help you build trust and professional relationships at every level of the organization.

You thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with temperatures ranging from 0–50 degrees. You can repeatedly lift 40–70 pounds, work on and off equipment throughout the shift, and stay focused on accuracy, safety, and team performance. Your leadership style is hands-on, data-aware, and grounded in developing people while driving operational results.
