Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution center activities, manage inventory control, and ensure the safe operation of material handling equipment. Your leadership will drive process improvements, uphold safety standards, and foster a high-performance team dedicated to operational excellence. Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate warehouse staff through effective team management and clear managerial communication. Oversee the operation of forklift trucks and other material handling equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control systems; utilize RF scanners for real-time data collection. Coordinate logistics for timely distribution center operations, ensuring shipments are processed accurately and on schedule. Enforce safety protocols related to heavy lifting, materials handling, and equipment operation to promote a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role with demonstrated team leadership skills. Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, inventory management systems, and logistics operations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management software (WMS). Valid forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment safely. Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety standards. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively under pressure.
