Duties
• Safely operate flat deck trucks with tilt capabilities to transport freight to designated locations
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring load securement, stacking and placement
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, performing basic automotive repairs as needed to maintain optimal performance
• Verify freight documentation, ensuring accuracy in delivery details and compliance with safety standards
• Securing loads on the flat deck to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and safety checks for accountability
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly
Requirements
• Valid DZ license with proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
• Knowledge of automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road or at the yard
• Ability to operate tilt mechanisms on flat deck trucks safely and efficiently
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
• Experience and physical stamina to load, unload, and secure cargo regularly
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients

Pay: From $30.59 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
